Front Desk & Administration

Monica  B. has served as La Porte Vision’s manager for over twenty five years. She has tremendous expertise in medical coding and billing, along with optical and dispensary knowledge.  She is essential to patient communication and to our community involvement.  She lives in Seabrook, with her husband and three daughters, a city she has called home for over thirty years.  For those of you who didn’t know this already, Monica and Dr. Bernay are sisters!

Bobbie has over twelve years of experience in the healthcare field, eight of which were spent here at La Porte Vision Center. She is responsible for the medical billing, although you may catch her as a doctor’s assistant, in the contact lens area, or as our tech expert (much to her dismay) on any given day! She has been married to her husband for fifteen years, and they have a son and daughter. She is native to the Baytown area.

Alisha manages our front desk and has had over three years of experience in working in an optometric setting. She has taken courses in medical coding and billing and plans to complete additional courses in this area in the future. She is married and is the proud and busy mother of a four year old son and five year old twin daughters! She has lived in the La Porte area for over 14 years.
