Dr. Meagan LeGrand is a residency-trained Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Raised in the Dickinson/League City area, Dr. LeGrand obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Optometry, both with magna cum laude honors, from the University of Houston. During her training, Dr. LeGrand received highly specialized training through her doctoral internships, including numerous rotations in ocular disease, speciality/medically necessary contact lens rotations, a neuro-ophthalmology rotation, and a dry eye rotation.
Upon graduation, Dr. LeGrand went on to participate in a year-long residency in ocular disease and refractive & ocular surgery at Eye Center of Texas. During her intensive training, she participated in the perioperative care and management of numerous cataract and refractive surgery patients. She also managed a wide-range of ocular conditions, including, but not limited to, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, corneal ulcers, and dry eye syndrome.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometry Association, and Harris County Optometric Society, as well as a candidate for Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry. She is an active member on numerous committees at the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce and is also a friend of the La Porte Rotary Club.
Dr. LeGrand has been married to her husband, Nathan, since January 2011. They currently reside in League City with their chihuahua and pugs. They enjoy trivia, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Deborah Bernay is a certified Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist. She has been in private practice optometry for the entirety of her 37 year optometric career. She is a diplomate in the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Bernay received both her Bachelor's Degree and Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. She is two-time past president of the Harris County Optometric Association, has been a member of the Texas Optometric Association since 1978, and American Optometric Association since 1981. She was awarded the Young Optometrist of the Year Award for the State of Texas in 1997. She has also served as adjunct clinical faculty at the College of Optometry from 1992 - 2009. She is the State Leader for InfantSEE in Texas, a national program designed to ensure that eye and vision care become an integral part of infant wellness, since 2004.
Service organizations have always been an integral part of Dr. Bernay's life. She is the three-time past President of the Bay Area Pilot Club, and President of the La Porte Noon Optimist Club. She is a member and past Vice President of the La Porte Bayshore Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Bernay also enjoys serving as a Catholic educator for St. Paul Catholic Church in Nassau Bay, and has done so for over twenty years.
Dr. Bernay has been married to her husband John Emeric for forty years. Together, they have a daughter, Ruth Elizabeth, and a son, Michael Anthony.
